Salzburg Photos: Window with Christmas Ornaments
return to "winter photos"

A window decorated for Chistmas. There is relatively little to say
about this particular window, except for the fact that the picture was taken on
the Imbergstiege staircase, which will take you to one of Salzburg's best
look-outs just outside of the Kapuzinerkloster. This place also makes a great
starting point for hiking tours on the Kapuzinerberg, the highest hill of
Salzburg. It offers several great view on the city - alas, keep this one for
summer, since some of the hiking paths can be very slippery and dangerous during
winter. For snow hiking, the Mönchsberg (the hill next to the
Fortress or
Salzburg Castle) will be more suiteable, as it comes with proper roads.
