Salzburg Photos: Skyline as Seen from the Mirabell Garden

The skyline of Salzburg with the prominent Salzburg Castle (Festung Hohensalzburg) at its centre. This picture was taken at the Mirabell Gardens from a spot where thousands of photographs are taken every year. We tried to do it a little bit differently and used a wide-angle to distort the Baroque garden to an extent that the famous and familiar skyline merged to a surreal, seemingly distant and empty image. Lesson to be learned: Salzburg is not (only) a busy, cowded and expesive place - Salzburg is what you make of it.
