Things to Do in Zell am See

Zell am See is the "capital" of the Pinzgau region and has a nice, historic town centre and a lakeside promenade that offer some sightseeing opportunities. Lake Zellersee offers all sorts of water sports in summer; hiking is good. Summer skiing is possible on the glacier of the Kitzsteinhorn; during the winter, skiing makes Zell am See one of the busiest towns in Salzburg.
