This Scheffau is not to be confused with a community of the same name in Tyrol; Scheffau am Tennengebirge is a summer holiday destination with great access to the Tennengebirge mountain range and the Salzachtal as well as the area around Abtenau as well as the wider Lammertal. Will appeal to elderly people and families with kids (provided they like hiking).
