The Altstadt or Old Town of Salzburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The pristine beauty of Salzburg under a delicate snow cover can hardly be rivalled by other cities - at least according to us local Salzburg enthusiasts. Even on a freezing December day like the one on which this picture was taken, Salzburg is not a mere city, but an experience. Taken from the Müllner Steg bridge, a great spot for photos often neglected by tourists.
