Salzburg Photos: Winterly Scene from Mirabell Garden

The "Rape of Persephone" is one figure group in a set of four at the centre of the Mirabellgarten ("Nice View Garden"). In the background, you can see the Palace of Schloss Mirabell on the left side, today the city hall of Salzburg and a popular venue for weddings. To the right of the figures, you can see the entrance to the Salzburger Barockmuseum or Museum of Baroque. The Mirabell Garden is open to the general public free of charge. During the winter season, some sections are closed.
