Salzburg Photos: Convention Center in Winter

The Convention Center of Salzburg is a major addition to the "ordinary" tourism and an important source of income for the city. The current, quite modern building was opened in the 1990ies after one of the city's biggest construction scandals with final costs by far exceeding the original proposals. Alas, at least the facility is still in good shape. It is situated just behind Schloss Mirabell Palace, thus rather centrally and within walking distance to the Old Town or Altstadt.
